Green even seems to be the predominant interior d?cor color for new hotels. It is a soothing color, but it doesn&#8217;t always mean the hotel has green practices.<\/p>\n<p>We travelers love the planet, of course. That&#8217;s why we want to see so much of it. But many of us like to keep our carbon footprints as light as possible, and some hotels are going the extra mile to help us do that.<\/p>\n<p>These are hotels that go beyond giving you the option of not having your sheets changed every day \u2014 not that that&#8217;s a bad thing, but it&#8217;s just a start. Numerous hotels are switching to energy-saving lights and low-flow toilets and shower heads.
