Not us exactly, but the <a href=\"http:\/\/ipsnews.net\/news.asp?idnews=49483\" target=\"_blank\">U.S. Army Corps of Engineers<\/a>. It seems we made some poor decisions about a shipping channel, even though we may have known better. Thanks to environmental damage caused by our channel, <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Effects_of_Hurricane_Katrina_in_New_Orleans\" target=\"_blank\">Hurricane Katrina<\/a> flooded thousands of homes, and now some of their owners have taken us to court.<\/p>\n<p id=\"id2439876\">Our case is not going well. In a groundbreaking decision, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nola.com\/hurricane\/index.ssf\/2009\/11\/post_16.html\" target=\"_blank\">Judge Stanwood J. Duval Jr.<\/a> recently ruled that Corps mismanagement was directly responsible for much of the flooding.
